Doncaster Council is keen to stress to residents that a letter being circulated from a company called Credit Resource Solutions Ltd is not in any way related to the Council.

The letters are addressed to The Council Tax Payer and headed Pre-litigation assessment. They say the company is acting on behalf of their client and as a result, Doncaster Council’s Council Tax department are receiving calls from worried residents who have received the letter.

This is nothing to do with Council Tax or Doncaster Council. The Council Tax team have contacted the company to ask them to remove all references to Council Tax Payer from any correspondence they send out.

Any residents receiving such letters and who want more information should contact them direct on 01422 324527. Care should be taken by residents not to disclose any personal information to the company without further evidence of what the letter is about and that it relates to them specifically.
