Make your money go
a little further....
Looking after the pennies has never been so
important. There are now free courses to
help people understand how to spend money wisely, how to save
money, how to use credit sensibly, prioritise payments and improve
budgeting.
These are valuable courses for
those who are on the St Leger Homes of Doncaster waiting
list, and would like valuable experience in the skills
which will enable them successfully manage their
tenancy.
THE ONE DAY
WORKSHOPS ARE FREE AND ARE HELD
AT VARIOUS
LOCATIONS ACROSS THE BOROUGH
Doncaster West
Development Trust (DWDT) are providing free training for those who
are on the St Leger Homes of Doncaster waiting
list. DWDT successfully bid for the funding from the NIACE
Adult and Community Learning Fund, and are able to provide this
training for future tenants until April 2012.
This training will
provide valuable knowledge and skills for your day to day life,
helping you deal with both the current financial climate and the
future benefit changes.
In particular,
this free workshop will help prepare you for sustaining a tenancy,
giving you a head start in being able to deal with the
financial issues around being a St Leger Homes
tenant.
The course will also link
into personal development training available through the
Adult, Family and Community Learning Service, as well as
providing options for further training and education.
