Vulnerable customers
All gas and electricity suppliers keep a register of vulnerable
customers who are entitled to a range of free services and
benefits. You can ask to be added to this register if you are:
• of pensionable age;
• disabled;
• chronically sick; or
• hearing and/or visually impaired.
You can find out how to become a priority customer with
your energy supplier on the Consumer
Focus website.
You can download a leaflet about the free service provided to
customers on the priority services register.
You can also ring your energy supplier to ask to go on the
priority services register. Remember – your energy supplier may not
use the term 'priority services register'.
